Be sure to place the short end with the metal ball in the hole as the ball rests on the surface of your board. Metal pegs have become the cribbage player’s favorite since they last longer than plastic and will not get stuck in your board like wooden pegs. The metal will take on a nice patina with age. - Pegs measure 1 inch in length and have an end diameter of approximately 0.113 in.
- Be sure to insert the small end with the ball into the board so the peg will rest on the ball that sits on the board making the peg stand upright.
