Bobby Fischer Ultimate Chess Pieces, Sheesham and Boxwood 3.75 inch King

The Bobby Fischer (Reg. U.S. Pat. & Tm. Off.) Ultimate Chess Set has a long and storied history. First brought about by Dewain R. Barber and Jay Blem to give the chess market a sturdy, reliable tournament set that would not break the bank. The pieces are ergonomically engineered to feature smooth surfaces and seamless edges to make extended games comfortable and a joy to play. The large-headed pawns and bishops, and the grooved knight's stem are easier to grasp. Heavy and durable, this set became the iconic plastic chess set here in the United States. The original Ultimate chess pieces are making their debut in a new wooden form with these beautiful kiln-dried Sheesham and boxwood pieces. The 3.625 inch king has been increased to 3.75 inches. The base size has been widened so the weight could be increased. At 3.527 lbs., it is one of the heaviest wood sets for its size on the market.

• If a package is marked DELIVERED by carrier but is not received by the customer, the customer must notify us via email (cs@woodexpressions.com) immediately and no longer than 7 days from the time the package is marked DELIVERED.
• Undamaged/unused products, purchased in November or December, may be returned within 45 days from the customer's receipt of the product for a refund less the original shipping charges.
• All other undamaged/unused products returned within 30 days from the customer's receipt of the product may be refunded less the original shipping charges.
• Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer except in the case of defective merchandise or a shipping error.
• Customized/Laser Engraved/ or Personalized items cannot be returned.
  
• We do not charge a restocking/repackaging fee.
• Items should be returned in their original packaging.
• Refunds are typically processed within one week from when the package is returned to us.
