WE Games Jacques Chess Pieces - Weighted with 3.5 in. King

These attractive chessmen in the traditional Staunton style first made by Jaques of London in 1849 are crafted from black stained and Kari wood. They are hand polished for a beautiful luster and they are weighted for greater stability. The Staunton design has become the standard for tournament play. The pieces are easily distinguishable making for easier game play. Knights are made to resemble the head and neck of a horse. Kings are the tallest pieces featuring a cross atop a closed crown. Queens are slightly smaller than the kings, and feature a coronet topped with a small ball. Rooks feature castle battlements, and bishops resemble a liturgical headdress of a western church. Pawns are the smallest and are topped by a plain ball. The pieces which represent humans (the king, queen, bishop, and pawn) feature a collar which separates the body from the head design. These can be used for tournament play and will be enjoyed for years to come.

• If the customer receives a product that is defective or damaged, he/she must notify Wood Expressions, Inc. via email (cs@woodexpressions.com) immediately and no longer than 7 days from the time the package is received, and we will send a replacement at our cost.
• If a package is marked DELIVERED by carrier but is not received by the customer, the customer must notify us via email (cs@woodexpressions.com) immediately and no longer than 7 days from the time the package is marked DELIVERED.
• Undamaged/unused products, purchased in November or December, may be returned within 45 days from the customer's receipt of the product for a refund less the original shipping charges.
• All other undamaged/unused products returned within 30 days from the customer's receipt of the product may be refunded less the original shipping charges.
• Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer except in the case of defective merchandise or a shipping error.
• Customized/Laser Engraved/ or Personalized items cannot be returned.
  
• We do not charge a restocking/repackaging fee.
• Items should be returned in their original packaging.
• Refunds are typically processed within one week from when the package is returned to us.
