The Bobby Fischer (Reg. U.S. Pat. & Tm. Off.) Ultimate Chess Set has a long and storied history.� First brought about by Dewain R. Barber and Jay Blem to give the chess market a sturdy, reliable tournament set that would not break the bank.� The pieces are ergonomically engineered to feature smooth surfaces and seamless edges to make extended games comfortable and a joy to play. The large-headed pawns and bishops, and the grooved knight?s stem are easier to grasp.� Heavy and durable, this set became the iconic plastic chess set here in the United States. The original Ultimate chess pieces are making their debut in a new wooden form with these beautiful kiln-dried ebonized wood and boxwood pieces. The 3.625 inch king has been increased to 3.75 inches. The base size has been widened so the weight could be increased.� At 3.527 lbs., it is one of the heaviest wood sets for its size on the market.

• If a package is marked DELIVERED by carrier but is not received by the customer, the customer must notify us via email (cs@woodexpressions.com) immediately and no longer than 7 days from the time the package is marked DELIVERED.
• Undamaged/unused products, purchased in November or December, may be returned within 45 days from the customer's receipt of the product for a refund less the original shipping charges.
• All other undamaged/unused products returned within 30 days from the customer's receipt of the product may be refunded less the original shipping charges.
• Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer except in the case of defective merchandise or a shipping error.
• Customized/Laser Engraved/ or Personalized items cannot be returned.
  
• We do not charge a restocking/repackaging fee.
• Items should be returned in their original packaging.
• Refunds are typically processed within one week from when the package is returned to us.
